60s inspiration and amy butler

Beautiful 60s inspiration from etsy.
Talking of 60s, amy butler fabrics are the most incredible bright, 'hippy' style patterns out there. In fact, they're about the best we've got. In this country there is a sad shortage of exciting, unusual fabric. I make lots of dresses with Amy's fabrics because they're about the only designs I'd want to wear. She also has a gorgeous inspiration section on her website with inspiring pictures. I aim to cover my house in cushions and quilts, wall hangings and antique chairs upholstered in her fabrics.

modcloth inspirations

inspirations from modcloth, my to make list for the next few weeks:

the last is from anthropologie. love the intricate embellishment: pastel ruffles and covered buttons. perhaps some quilted seahorses or starfish onto an ice blue chiffon  shift dress?
